3 Camp Choices

Takedown Camp—June 9—10
Instructors:  Brett Robbins, NCAA Champion Drew Foster, and additional wrestlers from University of Northern Iowa.

Wrestlers will learn how to drill correctly.  Wrestlers will also learn the vital importance of stance, hip position, and the techniques that all champions must have.  Skills such has set-ups, proper leg attacks, finishes, and the front headlock will be mastered.
 

Top & Bottom Camp—June 30—July 1
Instructors:  Brett Robbins, Taylor Lujan, and additional wrestlers from University of Northern Iowa

Wrestlers will learn the skills necessary to ride, turn, and pin.  They will also be taught techniques on positioning and tips on escapes and reversals.
 

Scramble Camp—July 7—8
Instructors:  Joey Lazor (Panther Wrestling Club Member) and additional wrestlers from University of Northern Iowa

Wrestlers will learn skills to defend your opponents takedowns.  You’ll learn to take their offense and turn it into your points.
 

Costs

Camps are $65 per camp or $150 for all three camps.  The cost includes lunch on the second day.  If your wrestler has a food allergy, please bring your own sack lunch.


Schedule

Day 1:  1pm-2:30pm, break/change, 3:30pm-5pm
Day 2:  10am-noon, lunch, 1pm-3pm


What to bring

Please be sure that each wrestler wears clean clothes each day.  Wrestlers should also bring headgear, wrestling shoes, water bottle, and a great attitude.  Campers may want to bring an extra set of clothing each day to change between sessions.


Who can attend

Grades 6-12—all grades are for the ’19-’20 school year.
